Classic colonial gets a fresh update for a family

A 1930's New England colonial gets a crisp white kitchen with Carrara marble and warm white cabinetry. The space is punctuated with new light fixtures. The fabrics are timeless gingham from Belgium's WIND collection. A fresh pattern from Robert Allen is easy on the eyes coral red window treatments. The Family room is designed with a new fireplace, surround sound and new access to the side patio. The contemporary chocolate and white rug with a comfortable sectional ticks all the families boxes. London's renown Marvic Textiles grace the club chairs. The adjacent Living room was updated with spa jade colored sofa. Linen adorns the club chairs while slipper chairs are styled in a damask patterned linen fabric. Artwork featuring a look alike to the family's beloved "Charlie" hang in tandem above the sofa. Across the foyer is a beautiful English style floral wallpaper and the dining chairs have a chameleon light greenish blue velvet to accompany the silver appointments.
